History

Bentley Park was originally part of Edmonton, but became a separate place in 2001. The name comes from a farmhouse which can be seen from the Bentley Park College school fields. The first school in the area was a convent school built in 1929. Bentley Park State School was built in 1997, and became Bentley Park College when it was extended in 2004.
