History

Kinross is a very new suburb. It was built in 1992-3. Many of the parks and streets in the area are named after places in Scotland.

Lifestyle and Entertainment

The Kinross population is mostly made up of people from abroad and young families. Many of the foreign residents are British.

There are two shopping complexes in Kinross. Kinross is the home of the Westside Soccer Club, and there is a skate park in the area. Most of Kinross is serviced by buses, but the south-east corner also has a train line. Kinross has a few parks that have playgrounds for children. The Neerabup National Park lies just at the edge of Kinross.
