Halls Head is a suburb in the City of Mandurah. The suburb is around 75km south of Perth, and is bound by the Mandurah Estuary in the north. It has a population of around 13,044, according to the 2011 census.

History

Halls Head was named after Henry Edward Hall, who received a land grant to establish a farm in the area in the 1930s. His family built Halls Cottage in the area, which is the only surviving early settler’s cottage in the area. It wasn’t until 1970 that Halls Head was officially announced a suburb.
