Health:
We offer training in nutritional health in the areas of Musculo Skeletal, Pre-Conception, Pregnancy, Menopause and Arthritis which enables us to holistically give advice on supplements and diet. Pain management and exercise prescription along with osteopathic manual therapy techniques are provided within the consultation.
Lifestyle coaching in areas of diet, exercise and stretches are part of the support given in association with osteopathic hands-on treatment. Workplace assessment, ergonomics and postural alignment are all areas which Pamela has experience in. She has been involved in several workplace healthcare programs and has given seminars and individual assessments in the corporate arena.

Osteopaths treat the whole body with manual medicine which means 'hands-on' techniques to restore normal function and structure in the body. We are primary healthcare practitioners who work allied to your GP and other health professionals. We help you get the body moving again by restoring movement in areas of restriction either from posture or injury problems.
There is a lot more to what we do and we can help you understand in a consultation, we have brochures and an association website that has a lot of great information on it.
There are still a lot of people who have never heard of osteopathy despite it being one of the largest growing healthcare professions in the world. It has been around for over 130 years and we have been in Australia for over 100 years and have 4 training courses on the mainland Australia.
Most often people attend an osteopath because of pain in their musculoskeletal system whether it is their spine (e.g. back or neck) or muscles through injury or postural strains. Some people come after motor vehicle accidents or post-surgery. Even before or after attending your dentist, osteopaths can be helpful with reducing jaw pain. Osteopaths can help with conditions such as asthma, pregnancy, sports injuries and chronic disease management such as arthritis.
Osteopaths can treat all age groups including babies, children, adults and geriatrics.
You do not need a referral unless you are claiming a third party payer such as workers compensation, MAIB or DVA. A referral from your GP under the chronic disease management scheme will allow you to claim through Medicare some rebate for your treatment. Osteopathy is rebated through private health extras and can be claimed at the time of visit with our HICAPS terminal.
We operate from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and every second Saturday by appointment. Some later night treatments are also offered by appointment.
