Pronounced Sf-uh-mato, the name is Italian (meaning “shaded off”) and has it’s origins in art. It relates to the painting technique used by Leonardo Da Vinci on his Mona Lisa which allows gradual, almost imperceptible transitions of color from light to dark.
At Sfumato our people are our strength as well as an integral part of our image and we’re looking for people who will embrace our vision, culture and our core beliefs.
We nurture every team member and empower them to be the best they can be and we are as committed to the success of our people as we are to the success of our salon and we provide extensive education (and incentives) for staff who share our drive for knowledge and success.

They are all creative of course, however, if you choose a Creative Technician you’ll pay just a little more for a more experienced operator.
