Fish Frenzy opened on Elizabeth Street Pier in November 1998 and quickly became known for its quality seafood, fast service and innovative presentation of its dishes. Largely through word of mouth followed by accolades in publications and magazines all over the world, the restaurant became a regular stop for many locals and is now sought out by interstate and overseas visitors.

About our restaurant

Fish Frenzy is famous for its delicious, daily fresh fish and chips, grilled seafood, salads and amazing hot seafood chowder. Come in and discover what the locals take for granted. The fast and friendly service is complemented by the incredible location of the restaurant, overlooking the docks and working port. Every visit to Hobart should include a stop at Fish Frenzy! Our seafood, salads and chips menu

A consistent and delicious spread of fresh seafood and salad options is the mainstay of our menu. Our menu includes a range of seafood - grilled fish, chowder, calamari, scallops, prawns, oysters, fish cakes, fish burgers and fish wraps. We also have an amazing Pier Platter featuring hot and cold seafood including fish, smoked salmon, prawns, oysters, mussels, calamari, octopus & scallops. We also have delicious salads featuring fresh Tasmanian ingredients.
