Our products are not only made with recycled materials, many are widely recyclable as well. We might have started out as a humble cardboard box manufacturer, but Visy has come a long way.

Pulp & paper is a big part of what we do at Visy. We're proud of all the paper we produce, in particular our recycled paper. That's because, when we say it's recycled, we mean it. Our recycled paper even includes approximately 98% post-consumer waste.

Visy aims to be environmentally responsible every step of the way, and we team up with governments, customers and other industry groups to make sure this happens. Together, we work to save resources, energy and water, and reduce litter and landfill.

  • How can I recycle better?

    You can play your part in the recycling process by ensuring everything you put out is ready to recycle (and recyclable in the first place). Also, have a think about what you can do to minimise your use of non-recyclable products. A lot of things can be re-used as something new once they've served their original purpose, and that way they don't end up as landfill.

  • Where do my recyclables go?

    Household recyclables are delivered to one of Visy's material recovery facilities (MRFs) around Australia and New Zealand. There, they are sorted and baled into groups: paper, cardboard, plastics, glass, steel and aluminium.
