History

Europeans first settled in the area in the 1840s and 1850s to farm. In the nineteenth century, Seaford was home to the Southern Race Course. In the middle of the twentieth century, the area underwent developments. Seaford was officially established in 1960.

In 1992, Seaford opened its post office.
