History

Rostrevor gained its name from the same-titled village in Northern Ireland. It lies in the city of Campbelltown, named after Charles J.F. Campbell. Part of Rostrevor is now located in Adelaide Hills Council.

The suburb is most known for Rostrevor College. The Catholic school was established in 1923 and remains open to this day.

Lifestyle and Entertainment

A lively suburb, Rostrevor is suitable for people of all ages. The Black Hill Conservation Park is home to native animals including koalas and kangaroos. The Fourth Creek runs through this suburb as well.

Rostrevor remains a religious suburb to this day. The Rostrevor Baptist Church is located there, along with the St Ignatius College.
