Fulham is located in South Australia. It is a suburb that lies to the west of Adelaide. Part of the local government area of the City of West Torrens, Fulham has a population of 2,611 (2006 census).

History

A man called John White bought the land covering this area in around 1836. He was originally from London, and he called the area Fulham Farm after the suburb of the same name in the English capital. Mr. White’s son built a property here that became their home. It stayed with the White family until 2015.

Lifestyle and Entertainment

To the south of the suburb is the Torrens Linear Park. This park is a great place for a walk or a cycle along a trail that runs the whole way through the park to the sea.
