Broadview is a suburb 6km north of Adelaide’s central business district. It is part of the City of Port Adelaide Enfield as well as the City of Prospect and has just under 4,000 inhabitants.

History

The history of Broadview dates back to 1915. C. H. Angas and K. D. Bowman were the first to lay out the area. The suburb’s very own post office opened in 1945, but it closed down in the 1980s.

Broadview is a nice area with excellent transport links to Adelaide’s central business district. Its central location and peacefulness make it a popular place for families with kids to live in.

One of Broadview’s main highlights is its beautiful park, the Broadview Oval. It features a playground for the kids and croquet lawns. There are lots of sports grounds in the area including tennis courts and a football field, where the local football club meets.
