Open 6 days a week including late night Thursdays, we strive to meet each person's requirements.
The professional team at Top Katz are focused on creating looks to suit each other and every person. Everybody is looked after in a kind, courteous and professional manner. The home care range is extensive and ever growing, including brands such as Joico, Fudge, PPS, Matrix, Vita5 and more. Original Diva is a hair extension/hair insert system using 100% human hair.

We offer all services, ranging from Eyebrow waxing and ear piercing to bridal/formal up styles. We use PPS as our professional supplier of all colours and perms. We also use special lighteners called magma from Wella.

Top Katz is a medium sized salon, with a dedicated team of stylists, who train regularly in colouring techniques, fashion cutting and product knowledge.

FAQs

  • Do you give a discount to pensioners?

    We offer a generous discount on haircuts/sets and perms for aged pensioners, however, the discount does not apply on Thursday nights and Saturdays.

  • Do you open Sundays?

    We open 6 days a week, Saturday until 4pm and Thursday till 8pm, we do not work Sunday at this stage.

  • Do you cater to the whole family?

    We offer services for the whole family including young babies.

  • Will you give a quote over the phone?

    We can give a rough estimate on prices, but we will not give an exact price before we have done a face to face consultation and determined the condition of the hair.

  • Which product are used for colouring and perming?

    We use mainly Matrix for most of our colour work and perming, we have found their products to be of a very high quality.

  • Can I buy my home care products from Top Katz?

    We carry a broad range of home care products, including Joico, Fudge, Juuce, Vita 5, Silk Oil of Morroca, Matrix and more.

  • I would like to purchase a GHD Iron. Can you help?

    We have GHD Irons and blow dryers in stock.

  • Can I get my waxing done?

    We do facial waxing and tinting, we also sell Fibre Mascara and Fibre eyebrow enhancer.

  • Do you offer make-up/hair package for formals and weddings etc?

    We have a couple of make-up artists who are happy to come to the salon and work with us at the same time as we do the hair. It works well, especially with groups.

  • Can I get hair extensions done in your salon?

    We have hair inserts from Original Diva, you can get a whole head or just a couple to thicken up fine hair. We do not offer permanent hair extensions at the moment.
