FAQs

  • How much do dentures cost?

Depending on the type of denture and how many teeth are missing, dentures can start from as little as $500 dollars, however, a free consultation with your dental prosthetist will give you a better idea on what to expect.

  • How do I clean my dentures?

To clean your dentures we recommend you brush them using a denture brush, soap and water. Do not use toothpaste as it will damage your dentures by scratching the surface. If you wish to soak your dentures you can use a number of products specifically designed for this, however, white vinegar and water make for an excellent soak. Make sure you try to clean your dentures after every meal and ensure you rinse your mouth and clean any permanent teeth with a toothbrush and toothpaste.

  • Should my dentures come out at night?

We always recommend you remove your denture overnight as it is a non-fixed and foreign object. This allows your gums and tissues to breathe and saliva to circulate. However, this is a personal choice, if you don’t want your loved one to see you without our teeth in, we understand that too.
