History

Little is known about North Toowoomba’s early history. In 1869, the area opened two schools. These schools were the Toowoomba North Boys State School, and the Toowoomba North Girls and Infants School. In 1937, the two schools combined. They are now known as Toowoomba North State School. The school has 157 students and 12 teachers.
