Mt Warren Park is a residential suburb in Queensland on the outer eastern area of Logan City. 37km south of the CBD, it has a population of over 5,600 people.

History

Mt Warren Park was built around a once prominent mill named after one of the principal sugar planters in the district, William Warren in 1871. In 1867, William Warren set up the Noyea plantation.

Due to its northern border being only 600 metres from the railway station at Beenleigh, the area is a good site for residential development. In 1974, the Mt Warren estate started around Rochester Drive before moving west and south during the next 15 years.

Lifestyle and Entertainment

The suburb is home to a neighbourhood shopping centre and the Mt Warren Park primary school that opened in 1981. There is another primary school just south of the suburb. Other features of the suburb include the Mt Warren Park golf course and a sports complex.
