History

Meadowbrook only became known as its own suburb in 1991. Before then, it was part of its much bigger neighbour, Loganlea. In 1990, Logan Hospital opened in Meadowbrook.

For all you keen golfers out there, Meadowbrook is home to the Loganlea Golf Course. You better keep your wellies handy though, because most of the course is within a flood zone thanks to nearby Lake Ellerslie. If you’re looking to learn, there’s a TAFE college as well as the Logan campus of Griffith University.

For families, fitness fanatics and dog walkers, Riverdale Park is a great spot. There’s a playground, two off-leash sections for your dogs, and outdoor exercise equipment.
