Is it just hair that you do?
We also offer full makeup makeover and consultations with Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics. Also full female waxing services are available.

J & R Hair Designers was established in 1978 by Jan Hedges. The salon was sold to Amanda Schwarzrock in 2001.

How long has Amanda been in the business?
Amanda started working at J & R Hair Designers in 1994. From 1994 to 2001 she went from apprentice, to senior stylist to manager and made the transition to owner in 2001.

Do you have onsite parking?
No, there is street parking. However, if you think that your appointment will be over 2 hours we recommend using the council carpark on the corner of Gregory St and River St, which is only 70cents an hour but will give you peace of mind that you will not receive a parking ticket during your appointment.
