Loganholme is a suburb in Logan City, 29km from Brisbane’s general post office. As a primarily residential suburb, Loganholme has a population of around 6,124, as of the 2011 census.

History

Until 1949, Loganholme was within the Shire of Tingalpa. The suburb’s local cotton gin began in 1867, and the ferry crossing in the 1870s. In 1873, Loganholme State School, began operating.

Loganholme is perfect for those who love staying active. The local Tudor Park has plenty of facilities for different sports. Alexander Clark Park, by the Logan River, is a nice open space for locals to enjoy. The park can hold events, functions and weddings. In the north of the suburb, the Logan Hyperdome has grocery stores, an Officeworks, and a Harvey Norman. A public hotel is near the Hyperdome too.
