PeakSmart Air-Conditioning helps reduce peak demand without affecting your air-conditioner's performance. It operates similar to the economy setting of an air-conditioner. The energy consumption is capped for short periods on a few days of the year and the system continues to produce cool air. The technology is designed to be set and forget so you won't have to do anything or notice a difference to your comfort.
A variety of factors will determine what size air conditioner is the right size for your needs. A basic calculation can be made to give an indication of sizing but we recommend contacting one of our friendly staff to discuss further or to arrange a site visit.
An electrician is required to disconnect and reconnect any hardwired appliances. We offer a convenient installation service for kitchen appliances that can also include the removal and disposal of the existing appliances.
Safety switches detect the loss of current from a circuit that indicates a person is receiving an electric shock and they cut the power in as little as 30 milliseconds. Safety switches on power and lighting circuits are mandatory in new homes but older homes may not have this protection. Please contact us to arrange an electrical inspection to ensure your home is safe.
Check your switchboard to identify what circuits have tripped and try and reset the safety switch. If it cannot be reset unplug all affected appliances. Once that is done, turn the safety switch back on and systematically plug the appliances back in to identify what appliance has caused the power to trip. If you the safety switch cannot be reset please contact us to arrange an electrician to attend.
In order to manufacturers to warrant their products they generally require a regular servicing history. We recommend air conditioners have a minor service completed annually. We offer fixed pricing for servicing so please contact us to arrange an appointment.
Our installers are fully qualified electricians who have the required licensing and training to properly install your split system air conditioner. Please contact us to discuss the installation of your air conditioner and indication of pricing.
Re-gassing an air conditioner is more involved than just topping up with refrigerant. The leak must be identified and repaired before refrigerant replaced. Please contact us for more information and an indication of pricing.
