History

Eatons Hill is named in honour of William Eaton, a member of the old Pine Shire Council between 1909 and 1912. Before his public service, Eaton found great success as an early pioneer and farmer at Albany Creek. The suburb has been heavily developed since the 1980s, with new housing still being planned and constructed.

Drapers Creek, which runs through Eatons Hill, is a popular local attraction. Kumbartcho Sanctuary is a haven of interesting flora and fauna.
