History

Carole Park was not settled until the 1940s. That said, there were a few farms in the area. In 1965, the area received electricity. In 1969, it got access to mains water. In the 1970s, residents received housing from the Queensland Housing Commission. Carole Park was not established as a suburb until 1972.

Until 2010, Carole Park was both a residential and industrial suburb. However, in May 2010, the residential area was named Ellen Grove.

Lifestyle and Entertainment

These days, Carole Park is an industrial area. Several large companies are in the area, such as James Hardie. These businesses cause pollution. Nearby residents have complained, but the Council has not acted.
