Power Coaching College, founded in 1958 and its affiliate Power Coaching College (Sydney) Pty. Ltd., established in 1988, is an independent and fully Australian owned educational tuition provider. Can I receive coaching in a specific topic area or do I have to have tutoring in the whole subject?
Tutoring is individually tailored to the student's needs. It can be a whole subject or a particular area - whatever your student requires.

When and where can tutoring occur?
Our tutors assist students on a one-to-one basis, in your own home, at times convenient to the family - afternoons, evenings or weekends. We come to you!

Who provides the tutoring?
We have a team of tutors from both university and teaching backgrounds, each having outstanding results in their individual subject area. All our tutors have been screened under the current NSW "Working With Children" Screening Unit guidelines.

Do the tutors provide homework?
Yes, if that is necessary or requested. Many students have ample homework set by their school and with some students already struggling with this load additional homework may not be beneficial.

If a lesson is missed what happens?
A make-up session can be arranged provided adequate notice is given prior to the missed session. This session can be arranged during the next week or in the holidays.

What are the fees and how are payments made?
The fees are variable and depend upon the student's educational level and requirements. We provide a free assessment of the student's needs and at this point we will be able to let you know what the fee will be. Payments are required to be made in advance either by the term or on a monthly basis in advance.

Do you have a set program?
Our tutors assist your student with whatever topic they are finding challenging or do not understand. Tutoring is individually tailored to your student's needs, with revision and consolidation of class work to ensure your student fully understands each topic. Our tutors help their students keep pace with current work and up to date with their studies.

Where does the tutoring take place?
In your own home, when it suits you, at a convenient time and day afternoons, evenings or weekends.

What happens if my student is sick?
Providing you let us or the tutor know in advance, the tutoring session is rescheduled to a later, more convenient time.

What if my student doesnt like the tutor?
We try to make sure we match a suitable tutor to your student's needs, but if you are not happy with the person selected, we change the tutor for you.
