At Jan's Driving School we understand that you want your P plates as quickly as possible. Learning to drive is one of the biggest achievements in your life. You may want the freedom to get to work, to school, to sport or social events or because you just want freedom in general. Whatever the reason, our instructors will teach you the vital skills and techniques to become a safe and confident driver.
For our L plate driving lessons we offer:
Our lessons are one hour for individual lessons. We have a package of 5 lessons at a reduced rate. This package is to be paid upfront by credit card or direct deposit before booking your lessons or by arrangement with our Jan's Driving School office. This package is valid for 2 months from the date of purchase. Our individual lessons can be prepaid by credit card by calling the office or paid in cash to our drivers.

Yes. Tuition is available 6 days a week- Monday to Saturday teaching both manual and automatic.
Jan's Driving School has a 24 hour notice of cancellation policy for all lessons.
Yes, generally speaking you can use your own car. The instructor will assess your driving skills and make the final decision. If you intend to use your car it must have a handbrake which the Instructor could use in case of an emergency. Many newer vehicles do not have the middle handbrake. Just remember you are still a learner. Also, your vehicle must be roadworthy and insured.
Your lessons can be paid by credit card or prior to your lesson or cash to the Instructor on the day. Please check the correct price when booking.
Absolutely. An initial lesson is required before your test booking to ensure your readiness. On the day of your test, the Instructor will take you for a lesson and then to your test and return you home afterwards.
No, if you are just about to go for your first drive, Jan's can help you to quickly grasp the basics. The Instructor will help you overcome any nervousness and get you started in a quiet area to develop your confidence.
Yes, we do offer gift vouchers and lesson packs. These are valid for 5 months from the date of purchase.
Yes, all comprehensive insurances are covered.
Please bring your driver's licence and log book to all lessons and make sure you wear closed in footwear.
