Leppington is a part of the City of Liverpool. It is a suburb of Sydney with a population of 2,383.

History
Before European settlers arrived, the area that is now Leppington was home to the Darug people. Alexander Riley received the first land grant in the area in 1810. He named his property Raby. It was later subdivided. Some of the bricks were used to build Raby Public School.

More local land was granted to William Cordeaux in 1821. The property then became known as Leppington Park. Raby Public School became Leppington Public School in 1955. The suburb took on its modern name as a result.

Lifestyle and Entertainment

Today, Leppington is mainly a residential area. The South West Rail Links services the suburb. The Camden Valley Way also connects it to both Camden and Liverpool. Other parts of Sydney can be reached via Westlink M7.
