Finley can be found on the Newell Highway in New South Wales’ Riverina region. The small town is home to around 2,000 people. Finley is 140 kilometres west of Albury.
History
The first European settlers came to the area in the 1840s. In 1881, a post office was opened in Finley. Before being known by the name it’s called today, Finley was referred to as Murray Hut up until 1893.

If you’re looking for fine farm produce, the Finley Agricultural and Pastoral Association holds a show every year. This has been a local tradition for over 100 years.
A college, two primary schools and a high school operate in Finley, making it an ideal town for families and students.
