History

After settlers arrived in Corrimal, the area was used for industry such as logging and mining. Prison labour was used to build the Bulli Parish Road in 1834.
Corrimal is well-known for a train that was used on the Bulli Colliery Line between 1909 and 1967. This train is now located in Corrimal for people to see.

Lifestyle and Entertainment

For people interested in coal, the Corrimal Cokeworks is open to visitors on Tuesdays. It has large towers which dominate the skyline, and can be seen from quite some distance away.
The “Spring into Corrimal” festival happens each year on the second Sunday in September. The main street is shut, and there is a parade, a market and other entertainment.
