Located at Broadmeadow, Hunter Hand and Upper Limb Therapy is a physiotherapy practice with expertise in the management of all shoulder, elbow and hand disorders. Our practice is one of the longest running in Newcastle that has specific expertise and focuses on the management of all upper limb disorders.
About Us
We have extensive experience in the post-operative management of the shoulder, elbow and hand and liaise regularly with a number of orthopaedic surgeons both in the Newcastle and Sydney area.
We are able to treat a variety of shoulder conditions including impingement, rotator cuff injuries, shoulder dislocation, frozen shoulder and osteoarthritis and traumatic injuries to the arm and hand.
We are also able to help with elbow conditions such as tennis elbow and fractures.
Our therapists provide a thorough examination of each individual condition and can prescribe tailored exercise programs, as well as hands on treatment, and splinting if required. We aim to focus on self-management strategies where possible.
We have a range of ready-made splints and are able to fabricate custom made splints for the various conditions mentioned above.
